Golden

I'm definitely having fun with bags this season.  After a load of requests for the Western Purse, I managed to put together some of the best ones I've ever made.  A year ago I bought this small piece of gold leather, now I  am tryin gto stretch it as far as I can, because it is so fabulous.

Winter Sale 2014

Classic Canvas Purse

I have been dreaming of making these beauties for a few years now.  My first attempt made me realize I need a binding tool.  However, now that I have a custom made tool, I have realized it is easier just to bind it by hand.... so much for that!  These are definitely not the easiest bags for me to make... but I love them.

Modern Tote

I didn't realize it at the time, but if I dont find more of that beautiful bison leather that is on the base of this bag... this may just be the last one like this.  I haven't been able to find anything quite like it.

Vintage Floral Mini Purse

This cute little purse will be available at the Third+Bird Spring Market.  I have a limited amount of this vintage upholstery fabric that I have been slowly making one of a kind bags out of.  This little purse continues to be a popular size, wish I had time to make more of them.

Spring is here! Finally!

I have been working on a couple of new designs, which will be available this spring at the Vineyard Church Spring Sale here in Winnipeg, May 31.  This lightweight waxed canvas bag and a lightweight market tote ( available in brown and grey) will be part of my collection, as well as a variety of all my other canvas designs.

Challenges!!

I was so excited about my new canvas bags and backpacks I was planning on putting together in this last month of prep for the festival.  Things started to get complicated when I started to run out of the trim leather...  Can't seem to find it in town anymore...  So I am on the hunt and these beautiful bags are going to have to wait.  Hopefully I can still get them together before summers end.

This leather kept catching my eye at the leather store and eventually I bought it with no idea what I was going to make with it....  And here we have it a crazy bright satchel.

How does that saying go... Third times a charm...Three different versions... each was my favorite until I made the next one... I think I will stop them here though.

Rustic Modern Tote in waxed canvas

Dream bag!! I thought I was in love with the floral tote, but this one has definitely won over my heart.
I can't believe I designed this bag two years ago, made it once... and wasn't sure how I felt about it.  It did sell, which is what encouraged me to make it again, and now I can't seem to stop making them.  I'm so glad I got the brown waxed canvas, it's going to make lots of beautiful bags.

A little romance...

I just completed two vintage upholstery fabric bags, each a different design.  This curvy tote has so many rounded pieces it makes it rather challenging to sew.  I love it, maybe I should make one for myself.

So excited about the new Tiny Purse!  I've been wearing mine everyday, it's gonna be the best summer bag ever.
